CLOSED:::: Landers Chicago Style Steakhouse Tampa
It was sad to see Sam Seltzer's Steakhouse go, but change creates opportunities. That's exactly what it did for Angelo Kastani the owner of Landers Chicago Style Steakhouse in the old Sam Seltzer's building. Much like Sam Seltzer's, the price is very good for the level of service, and quality of food you receive.
The menu has many aged steaks (minimum 21 days). All very good priced. The 12 oz. filet is only $20. Landers also has a "top cut" steak menu ranging from $45 to $49 each. There are many seafood options for the seafood lovers out there. The twin rock lobster tails are only $22. The "local favorites" menu features dishes like veal parmesan, chicken marsala, baby back ribs, and meatloaf.
We Had (all pictured to the right)
Oysters Rockefeller $9
The oysters Rockefeller appetizer was top notch. They were the perfect temperature, without being "crispy".
20 oz. Bone in Rib Eye $22
The 20 ounce bone in rib eye was a perfect medium rare. It was so flavorful to the last bite.
Ahi Tuna $17
The ahi tuna was a very large portion for only $17. It was crusted with black and white sesame seeds, and topped with a teriyaki glaze.
Guava Mango Cheesecake $7
The guava mango mouse cheesecake was such a unique tasting cheesecake. It was not too rich, just right.
Overall Landers Chicago Steakhouse is a very good addition to Tampa cuisine. The top of the line steaks, with moderate prices is very much needed in Tampa.
